Adrien was a night guard in Santa Aurelia. Lía was the princess of a castle without a king. Their secret conversations let them put aside their post and title for a moment.
They cared deeply for one another. Perhaps they were in love. The arrival of the mist broke that bond: she was taken captive, and he set out to find her.
What remains of Santa Aurelia
The survivors have skills, fears and people who need them. Adrien sets out from a camp where every offer of help can make the next expedition possible.
The mist offers power. The difficult part will be recognising what begins to change when accepting it seems necessary.
